The problem occurs ONLY when saving the dwg in MECH 2022. I've attached a file that you can use to repeat my problem using the following 2 scenarios.ġ) Open in MECH 2021, set the Force Power Dimension default to Paper Space.ģ) Open in MECH 2021 and the Force Dimension default stays at Paper Space.Ĥ) Open in MECH 2022 and the Force Dimension default stays at Paper Space.ġ) Open in MECH 2022, set the Force Power Dimension default to Paper Space.ģ) Open in MECH 2021 and the Force Dimension default changes to AM_ANSI.Ĥ) Open in MECH 2022 and the Force Dimension default changes to AM_ANSI. I currently have the default saveas set to Mechanical 2018. As AutoCAD Mechanical is only 2D, none of the standard parts such as holes will create 3D features like Inventor would but once youve created views of your 3D part or assembly, using viewports, AutoCAD Mechanicals symbols can be used to detail the views. This problem only occurs with ACAD Mechanical 2022. I can use ACAD Mechanical 2021 and everything works fine. I have not had this problem with previous versions of ACAD Mechanical. I was able to reset all setting to default.
